We provide tour guides who conduct a guided walking tours of the Parramatta Female Factory. Our tour guides have been trained and have a sound knowledge in the context, history, heritage of the Parramatta Female Factory from 1818 to 1848. The Parramatta Female Factory is the earliest surviving convict women’s site in Australia. Please see the flyer below on how to book a tour.

Light Rail
If you are coming by Public Transport, catch the Parramatta Light Rail from Parramatta Square, which is a short walk from Parramatta Railway Station. Alight at Ngara stop and walk about 100 metres along the footpath to the Parramatta Female Factory.

For any size group 1- 20, an in-depth tour of the Parramatta Female Factory concentrating on your area of interest (this is great for artists, descendants, historians, novelists, photographers, special interest groups or even as a surprise gift). Email for prices and a convenient time. These Tours can run from 2+ – 4 hours.
Weekend Tours: You can book a Saturday or Sunday as a bespoke tour.
